This advanced design assures an artifact free image with no plate damage. In fact, iCRco offers a three year warranty on its phosphor plates with usage rates over 250,000 per plate. Conventional CRs have a roller system that bends the plate. This type of CR processing means a higher cost of plate ownership.

All iCRco CRs capture images at 16 bits, which allows for 65,000 shades of gray per pixel. More shades of grey mean more image detail. Most traditional CRs capture images at 12 bits, meaning 4,096 shades of gray per pixel.

iCRco’s unique design makes the CR unit flexible for all work environments. Weighing 88lbs allows the unit to be wall mounted or placed on a shelf or cart. This aspect is great for those facilities where clinic real-estate is at a premium.
