Carpe eDatum goes on board with Holland America

3/18/03

Austin, TX-based Carpe eDatum and its Vancouver, BC, distribution partner, Ship-Rad Services, have closed a deal with Holland America Line to install a PACS from Croatian firm Vamstec aboard the Oosterdam, the cruise line’s newest ship. The installation will acquire and digitize images in the ship’s infirmary using a CR reader from Eastman Kodak Health Imaging of Rochester, NY, and will then transmit the data for interpretation via an Internet satellite link to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
