Carpe eDatum, Vamstec set sail on Holland America Line

6/27/02

Austin, TX-based Carpe eDatum and its Vancouver, BC, distribution partner, Ship-Rad Services, have signed a deal with Holland America Line to install Croatian PACS firm Vamstec's clinical image management system (CIMS) aboard two of the fleet’s ships. The installations will acquire and digitize images in the ships’ infirmaries using CR devices, then transmit the data via an Internet satellite link to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, for interpretation.
