Austin, TX-based Carpe
eDatum and its distribution partner,
International Medical Supply of Edinburg, TX, have
closed a deal with Doctors Hospital at Renaissance
of McAllen, TX, to install a RIS and PACS from
Croatian firm Vamstec.
According to Carpe eDatum, the companies will
install all available RIS and PACS modules from
Vamstec, with the system enabling scheduling,
image capture, diagnostic review, dictation,
transcription, and Web-based image and report
distribution.
The companies will also provide Rochester,
NY-based Eastman
Kodak Health Imaging's DirectView CR, an LS85
5K film digitizer, and a DryView 8700 laser imager
to the institution.
