Carpe
eDatum Adds Kodak Health Imaging
To PACS Portfolio
Carpe
eDatum, Inc. announced today that the company has signed agreements with the
Eastman Kodak Company as an authorized Digital Systems Integrator.
The agreements
enable Carpe eDatum to offer its customers a broad range of Kodak medical
digital imaging devices to integrate with its exclusive proprietary PACS from
Vamstec. The Kodak devices
include the full range of ACR and DirectView computed radiography products,
DryView Laser Imaging Systems, and the full line of LS film digitizers.
Carpe and Vamstec will work closely with Kodak to develop any necessary
interfaces for seamless integration with ISSA and Pharos PACS software.
According
to Gary Mermelstein, President of Carpe eDatum: “The Vamstec software has
been well received in the U.S. since its introduction about 1-˝ years ago,
enabling us to penetrate significant high profile accounts.
With the addition of Kodak Health Imaging, our customers and
prospective customers will have one of the most extensive state of the art
