Digital image management provider Carpe
eDatum (CeD) has joined forces with MR
services provider Extremity Imaging Partners of
Pittsburgh on an installation in Austin, TX.
The two companies are providing Southwest
Orthopaedic Group (SWOG) of Austin with the
technology and services for Web-based diagnostics
and distribution of extremity MRI scans, according
to Carpe eDatum, also of Austin. CeD said it has
provided a Lunar E-Scan open extremity MR scanner,
and is installing Vamstec’s
Web-based PACS network.
